In this role, you would be responsible for reviewing and approving month-end Fund and SPV NAV reporting, assisting with audits, and identifying process improvements. Description:
**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee and approve month-end Fund and special purpose vehicle (SPV) NAV reporting conducted by a third-party administrator
- Review and approve Fund investor allocations, contribution and withdrawal activity, management and incentive fee calculations, and investor capital statements
- Aid in the annual financial statements audits for Funds and SPVs, including managing auditor requests and reviewing financial statements prepared by the third-party administrator
- Assist the tax function with the review of K-1s and other tax reporting
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Identify and execute process enhancements within the accounting function, including optimizing technology usage and streamlining current processes
- Proactively lead and engage in ad hoc projects to bolster the accounting function
**Qualifications:**
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years of professional public/private industry experience in the asset management sector
- Prior experience at a Big 4 or national CPA firm is preferred
- CPA certification is preferred
- Proficient in Excel
- Familiarity with data processing and analytical tools
