Description:
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment application, and managing overdue accounts for optimal cash flow.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts in collaboration with the operations team to ensure accurate reporting and valuation.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate recording of transactions in compliance with accounting principles.
- Participate in month-end closing activities by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to provide insights into financial performance.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and assisting in audit inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting operations and contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and systems.
**Qualifications**
- Preferred certification in CPA or CMA.
- Preferably have experience with BIG 4 or public accounting firms.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Passion for food and cooking, culinary experience a plus.
