Description:

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the controller to prepare periodic financial reports and year-end financial statements, oversee the audit process, and review various fund-related documentation.
• Coordinate with tax preparers to manage all aspects of tax preparation, including filings, fees, and expenses associated with the funds.
• Oversee bookkeeping activities and ensure the timely completion of the financial closing process.
• Prepare and verify ledger entries and perform reconciliations as necessary.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for candidates who have a background in commercial real estate fund accounting.
• Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness to management's needs and requests.
• Strong academic background from a reputable institution, with a solid understanding of real estate finance and accounting principles.
• Exemplary work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Capacity to maintain high levels of organization, quality, and attention to detail in a dynamic work setting.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
