Description:
**Responsibilities**
- Offer guidance and assistance on intricate accounting matters, such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, equity transactions, and consolidation.
- Implement and ensure compliance with new accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct research on technical accounting issues and document findings in detailed memos.
- Work closely with external auditors during audits and address any audit inquiries.
- Establish and uphold accounting policies, procedures, and controls for accurate financial reporting.
- Supervise the preparation and assessment of financial statements following GAAP guidelines.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to guarantee precise and timely financial reporting.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to uphold accounting standards and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff on technical topics.
- Undertake additional projects as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Possess a deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements, with knowledge of Model Audit Rule being a bonus.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Show capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Experience with ERP systems like Netsuite is advantageous.
- Maintain high attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Skilled in collaboration and delegation of tasks.
