Overview: Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a Fund Accounting position in South LA. You would have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities by performing fund accounting duties for several funds within the Financial Services - Investment Management industry. Description: **Responsibilities:**

Execute fund accounting tasks for various funds within the organization.
Analyze and rectify transactions through cash and asset reconciliations, escalating discrepancies within set limits.
Update and manage fund sub-ledgers and general ledgers regularly.
Compute management fees, review Geneva output, and handle capital calls and distributions.
Prepare accounting packages, financial statements, and investor capital account statements on a quarterly basis.
Assist with annual audit and tax processes both internally and with external accountants.
Address ad-hoc requests from investors and management.
Collaborate on special projects, document procedures, and conduct additional analysis as required.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in public accounting or investment management accounting preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and dedication to quality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal abilities.
Experience with computer systems and general ledger software (knowledge of Advent Geneva is a bonus).
CPA certification is advantageous.
