Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset-level business plans focused on financial analysis, revenue optimization, and risk management to drive portfolio performance.
- Monitor property performance against budgets and market benchmarks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Review financial reports for accuracy, providing insights to enhance cash flow, rent collections, and operational profitability.
- Oversee capital projects and property renovations, managing vendor selection and project execution to meet timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with leasing teams to create and execute tenant retention and leasing strategies, approving major lease agreements and improvements.
- Conduct market and risk analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, benchmarking performance against comparable assets.
- Prepare and present detailed asset reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations during investment committee and ownership meetings.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPM designation preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in asset management or property management, particularly with large-scale residential or mixed-use portfolios.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in property management software (Yardi, MRI, Entrata) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel across multiple states as needed.
