Responsibilities
- Prepare and file SEC documents, including 10-Q/10-K, earnings presentations, 8-Ks, and proxy statements, utilizing the Workiva reporting tool.
- Collaborate with various teams to coordinate the collection of deliverables essential for accurate reporting.
- Draft financial statement disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Oversee annual audits and quarterly reviews, working directly with external audit firms to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Conduct disclosure research and consult with management and auditors to address new requirements and non-routine transactions.
- Enhance internal processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry roles.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Experience with Workiva and financial services industry knowledge.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and present complex information clearly.
