Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in high-volume transactions.
• Oversee bank and balance sheet reconciliations, enhancing the quality of financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, consolidating data across multiple departments.
• Implement process improvements to streamline reconciliation and reduce close cycle time.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
• Utilize Epicor ERP to maintain data integrity and optimize financial workflows.
• Support compliance with US GAAP and internal policies while assisting in audit preparations.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Epicor ERP and AP automation tools.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with SQL, Python, or similar database languages.
• Familiarity with PCAOB audits or publicly traded company environments.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and compliance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior accounting staff.
