Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual business unit operating plan, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor and report monthly financial results, providing insights into variances and trends to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Forecast financial performance accurately, incorporating current trends and initiatives to optimize planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate across functions to enhance understanding of operational activities, identifying cost drivers and performance improvement opportunities.
- Establish and refine analytics and metrics to track business performance, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting.
- Lead compliance efforts with corporate governance and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong fiduciary environment.
- Act as a strategic partner in long-term planning, identifying investment opportunities and prioritizing initiatives to maximize EBITDA and cash flow.
Qualifications
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, with a strong understanding of KPIs and financial metrics.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite, and familiarity with Revenue Recognition and ASC-742 standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving financial performance and operational improvements.
