Responsibilities

• Compile and file federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations, and small C-Corporations with accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain detailed workpapers and organized documentation to support tax engagements and audits.
• Partner closely with the Tax Director and senior team members to navigate complex tax compliance assignments and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct thorough research on tax regulations and provide informed responses to emerging technical questions.
• Engage directly with clients to collect necessary information and address inquiries related to their tax matters.
• Manage multiple deadlines efficiently to ensure all tax deliverables are completed on schedule throughout the year, including peak seasons.
• Contribute to tax planning initiatives and ongoing advisory services as professional experience and firm needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Between three and five years of public accounting experience focused on tax preparation and compliance.
  • Proven expertise preparing individual (1040), partnership (1065), S-Corporation (1120S), and small C-Corporation (1120) tax returns.
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple deadlines and maintaining meticulous tax documentation.
  • Effective communication skills with a client-focused and collaborative approach to service delivery.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
  • Experience working within a boutique accounting firm environment serving real estate investors, private equity, or high-net-worth individuals.
  • Familiarity with modern tax technology platforms and AI-enhanced workflows.
