Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance with client-specific policies and procedures.
• Verify invoice accuracy, secure necessary approvals, and maintain thorough documentation for all transactions.
• Input, code, and process invoices using client accounting platforms, primarily Yardi, while maintaining detailed process records.
• Coordinate weekly check runs and daily wire transfers to guarantee timely vendor payments and disbursements.
• Address and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries through direct communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Support treasury operations by initiating wire transfers, monitoring cash balances, and assisting with cash flow management.
• Perform regular bank and cash account reconciliations and prepare financial reports for client and investor review.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in accounts payable within the real estate sector.
  • Proficiency with Yardi accounting software; familiarity with MRI, QuickBooks, or AppFolio is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable workflows, payment processing, and treasury functions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial transactions independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suited for remote client interactions.
