Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and workshops to map current and future business processes, capturing detailed system requirements and translating them into clear documentation such as user stories and functional specifications.
• Act as a subject matter expert for enterprise applications, primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, supporting system configuration, issue resolution, and enhancement evaluations.
• Collaborate with business units including Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to identify automation opportunities and develop business cases that drive operational efficiency and improved system utilization.
• Partner with reporting teams to define analytics needs, develop requirements for dashboards and KPIs, and assist with Power BI initiatives to enhance data visibility and decision-making.
• Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing, manage defect tracking, and support change management activities to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of technology solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, system configurations, and governance protocols while supporting application release planning and post-implementation support.
• Assist in project governance by monitoring risks, managing timelines, and facilitating communication across stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with at least 3 years supporting enterprise business applications.
  • Proven track record in gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and driving process improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementations or optimization projects, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Strong skills in supporting testing phases, including user acceptance testing and defect management.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into functional reporting solutions, with familiarity in Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Effective communication skills to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Based in the Greater Denver Area with availability for a hybrid work schedule.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum, or Microsoft Dynamics credentials.
  • Experience in industries like manufacturing, distribution, construction services, or asset management.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integrations, data governance, and master data management.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and ITIL concepts.
