Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services tailored to affluent clients and their business entities.
• Manage multiple client projects from initial planning stages through final delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, cultivating enduring professional relationships and trust.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to senior associates and staff, enhancing team capabilities.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and formulate actionable strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with partners on client service initiatives, practice growth, and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • CPA certification completed or actively pursuing.
  • Five or more years of public accounting experience focused on tax compliance and planning.
  • Proven expertise working with high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and privately held businesses.
  • Strong technical knowledge in tax return review and complex tax issue resolution.
  • Experience in a Big 4, national, regional, or well-regarded local public accounting environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead teams.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • Familiarity with tax software such as CCH Axcess and SurePrep.
  • Prior exposure to hybrid work settings and balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
