Overview: Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a Corporate Actions Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to take on new responsibilities by managing the lifecycle of all corporate action events and optimizing workflows within Trade Operations. Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, including calls, tenders, exchanges, consents, mergers, spin-offs, stock splits, and SPACs
  • Document decisions from strategists/analysts and ensure accurate processing of all events
  • Communicate closely with custodians to verify event details and confirm voluntary instructions
  • Reconcile the impact of corporate actions on internal systems and custodian records
  • Process loan amendments and provide support for other operational processes

Qualifications:

  • Possess general knowledge of domestic and global fixed income and equity securities/instruments
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and have a basic understanding of Bloomberg
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Show outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and navigate unstructured processes
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
