Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor payments while maintaining compliance with internal controls.
 - Review and approve accounts payable documents for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
 - Monitor team performance and productivity, utilizing analytical tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
 - Resolve complex vendor issues and discrepancies through effective communication and reconciliation efforts.
 - Identify opportunities for process automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
 - Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely financial reporting and accuracy of accounts.
 - Collaborate with various departments to foster a client-focused environment and support organizational goals.
 - Act as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and maintain accurate historical records.
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
 - A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in accounts payable or a related area.
 - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with a working knowledge of business-related internet applications.
 - Preferred experience with NetSuite and Corpay.
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
