Description:
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Fund Administrator on daily cash management, including capital calls, investments, distributions, and management fee calculations.
Calculate carried interest for the funds.
Prepare financial statements and partner capital reports for internally managed funds.
Engage with the Fund Administrator regarding externally managed funds and co-investments.
Support the coordination of audits for funds and co-investments.
Assist in the closing of investment deals.
Oversee and review valuations of the private equity portfolio.
Manage bank accounts, including opening and closing accounts.
Process wire transfers and related journal entries.
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Monitor the accounting mailbox and respond to investor inquiries on a daily basis.
Help prepare presentations and quarterly letters for limited partners.
Assist with various fundraising requests as needed.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Approximately one to three years of experience in public accounting.
