Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis efforts by building and maintaining comprehensive financial forecasts and budgets that inform strategic business decisions.
• Oversee core accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger, ensuring strong controls and documentation.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting materials for senior management, managing internal requests and deliverables with clear ownership.
• Optimize the finance technology stack, improving workflows and data quality while implementing automation and AI solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate tax processes, collaborating with external providers to ensure timely and accurate tax filings while managing inputs and timelines.
• Assist senior management with long-term organizational planning, providing structured insights and practical recommendations to drive growth.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 6-8+ years of accounting and tax experience within financial services, investment management, audit, or professional services.
• Proven experience in private equity or venture capital.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on levels in a growing organization.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition and ASC-742.
• Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for technology and workflow improvement.
