Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP for the organization and its acquired entities; leverage QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and ERPs like NetSuite.
• Assist in the transition of acquired businesses from QuickBooks Desktop to Online, while streamlining processes such as payroll, invoicing, payables, and taxes.
• Identify and address financial and operational weaknesses in acquired companies, implementing effective corrective measures.
• Contribute to various operational finance initiatives, including:
  • Management of net working capital
  • Monitoring and tracking budgets
  • Tracking RFQs, POs, and sales
  • Aggregating and analyzing KPIs
  • Managing payroll
  • Conducting daily and weekly cash reconciliations
  • Handling tax-related matters
• Establish an accounting framework that consolidates multiple entities and integrates new acquisitions smoothly.
• Support the development of financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and capital allocation strategies.
• Create and maintain accounting processes and procedures that ensure readiness for audits.
• Develop and uphold internal controls and policies to guarantee compliance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance to assess and implement financial systems and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in accounting, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, data analysis, net working capital management, auditing, taxation, payroll, and compliance.
• CPA certification with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and the ability to link accounting principles to economic insights.
• Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and various ERP systems.
• Skilled in synthesizing data, drawing insights, and supporting critical decision-making processes.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing accounting practices; experience in the aerospace and defense sector is advantageous.
• Possess a humble demeanor, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for problem-solving.
• Familiarity with cost accounting and inventory management principles.
• Experience with systems implementation projects.
