Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, as well as sales tax and other non-income tax filings.
• Oversee the quarterly and annual tax provision process in compliance with ASC 740.
• Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and uncover potential tax planning opportunities.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Develop and implement domestic and international tax strategies aimed at minimizing tax liabilities.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of all tax obligations.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred.
• 7-9 years of corporate tax experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a Big Four firm.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740, transfer pricing, and indirect taxes.
• Proficiency in relevant tax software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite).
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Master’s degree in taxation.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system and advanced Excel skills.
